This blog about my experience with menstrual disks (Original is in Japanese). I think it’s a not casual open topic, so I built it as the new blog.
I used to put tampons when I took a bath and use them until morning. It takes about 9-10 hours.
Recently, there is a caution on a package of tampons to prevent TSS, so that the use of tampons does not exceed 8 hours.
My usage time is only a little longer than that, but I was worried because I read the article of the model who took TSS, so recently I refrained from using tampons as much as possible.
However, there are times when it gets dirty when I leave the bath, and I worry that there is a lot of amount during sleeping, and if I fail, the time and effort of washing will increase.
Oneday, when I was looking at Amazon US, I find a product called FLEX Menstrual Disc. It seems to have come to be known little by little by the name of menstrual disc in Japan.
I thought about it for a while and bought both FLEX and Softdisc, which is a little cheaper. Flex was $14.99 for 12 pieces, Softdisc was $10.49 for 14 pieces, and shipping was $10.36 (3,830 yen at the time rate).
I ordered it on 2/19/2021 and arrived at 3/1. I would like to write about my impressions of using menstrual discs from now on.
